About Us

We aim to celebrate the various forms of the Camellia Sinensis plant (tea) and tea cultures that exist around the world. Tea is the most popular hot beverage in the world, and in many cases has hundreds of years of tradition. We hope to explore the plethora of growing environments and processing methods that provides us the thousands of varietals that all start with just a tea leaf. Through trying a variety of teas, we hope to explore the various cultures from which they were cultivated. We will meet weekly in a public environment to taste, learn and appreciate tea in all of its forms. In the spirit of tea we try to provide a quiet, respectful atmosphere, where good conversation can flourish and knowledge can be shared. We hope to reach many people, and to share this wonderful beverage with all.
