What are the commitments? We have weekly meetings to discuss various independent and group projects. What are your projects? Website: collegeanswers.weebly.com. We answer kids' questions about college Newsletter: monthly page of college news/information sent out to schools Videos: college promotional and fun videos to show what college life is like Video-conferences: connect directly with rural educators and students Visits: drive to a rural partner school to engage in a project with kids Campus events (panels, discussions, etc.): bring light to issues of rural education at Bowdoin College Knowledge Bowl: a yearly trivia tournament for students from our partner schools held on Bowdoin's campus Future of Maine Scholarships: We read scholarship submitted by 3rd-5th graders focused on their aspirations for college.
