About Us

The Bowdoin Art Society has a threefold mission: To challenge the parameters of the arts and make art accessible to Bowdoin’s student community. To promote greater interest and equity in art-related fields by fostering students’ professional understanding and connection. To foster and establish an arts community at Bowdoin by way of weekly gatherings, social events, artist and art professional panels, and visits to museums in the greater New England area.
