About Us

Bowdoin Women of Color Coalition (WoCC) is a cultural group that aims to provide mentorship and support to all who identify as BIPOC women and femmes. The goal of this coalition is to create a community that promotes diversity and inclusivity both on and off-campus. Our events and programming range from our annual WoCC student leaders dinner, monthly "Tea Party" series, and initiatives intended to raise awareness on issues BIPOC women face. The WoCC aims to foster a community where members can engage with each other and explore what it means to be BIPOC women on campus. We hope to do this through programming centered around issues affecting BIPOC women both on campus and in our greater community. The WoCC welcomes individuals that identify as women and femmes in any way that is meaningful to them. IG: @bowdoinwoccoalition
