About Us

Bowdoin Animation Society (BAS) is the place for animation fans to be! From weekly showings, an organized convention trip, and complementary snacks, we have much of what an anime/donghua/etc. fan could need. Are you new to animation? Only watch casually? A die-hard fan? Whatever your relationship with the medium is, it’s all good! Each week is a different theme, so be sure to check the weekly emails to know when you might want to stop by. Note: While we watch mostly Japanese anime, we do our best to build in animation from other countries, including China, South Korea, France, and the US!
