Bowdoin Women in Science aims to encourage women to enter scientific fields and has the greater purpose to further the equality of women working in science. This club will give women the opportunity to explore different careers and fields in science as well as highlight the importance of women in male-dominated spaces. This club is also founded with the intent to provide a safe and supportive safe to discuss the challenges and hurdles of being a woman in a scientific field.
