About Us

WBOR (91.1 FM) is a diverse, collaborative, and student-run radio station for Bowdoin College students, faculty, staff, and Midcoast community members to express themselves in a welcoming community of creative folk. For over eight decades, WBOR has created quality, independent, and unique programming that represents the diversity of the Bowdoin and Midcoast area while fostering a sense of community and discovery. Through creative programming, live events, and community engagement, WBOR provides a platform for new and underrepresented voices, perspectives, and sounds while also providing a student-run alternative to standard commercial radio.
