About Us

The Office of the Dean of Student Affairs oversees the Division of Student Affairs, which supports the education of Bowdoin students beyond the classroom into the residence and dining halls, onto the playing fields and performance stages, and into student and local community organizations and the Maine outdoors. Further, Student Affairs departments and offices foster skill-building outside of the academic realm so that students can apply their knowledge to deepen their self-awareness and self-efficacy; navigate and connect through differences in all sorts of situations; and build diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture at Bowdoin, and in their professional and personal lives beyond the College.
