About Us

Co-ed a cappella that sings throwbacks, alternative music, and hits. Ursus has evolved to occupy a narrow musical niche, attaching certain acoustical characteristics to their name and style which include but are not limited to: ridiculous electronic melodies, bold and compelling chord progressions, and perfectly blended harmonies that will enchant audiences. We strive to sing and share music on campus and throughout town and tend to perform a mix of throwbacks, alternative tunes, and hits from today. Some years, we record and produce our own CD. We look to sing at campus events, have our own concerts, sing at more formal events, and also collaborate with a cappella groups from other schools.
