Mushroom Walk in the Commons

Join Mina for an afternoon in the Commons appreciating the fungal world. We will meet in front of Watson Arena at 1:30pm, then walk together into the commons. Bring what you need to be warm and comfortable in the weather. We will walk slowly and try to spot mushrooms that are fruiting. No experience or knowledge required, just a desire to find and ponder some mushrooms.
Depending on interest, we can discuss some basic mushroom ID skills or simply appreciate the fall scenery. While finding mushrooms among fallen leaves takes patience, you are welcome to turn back at any time, and do not need to stay out for the whole 2+ hours.
