Houston Symphony Violinist, Tong Yan, will present an evening program of contemporary works for violin and electronics by renowned composers Kaija Saariaho and Missy Mazzoli, alongside new works by Badie Khaleghian, Assistant Professor of Digital Music, and Jacob Goodman (Bowdoin '25). Presented as part of the Center for Experimental Multimedia Art’s Close Encounter series, this performance offers a rare opportunity for audiences to experience music in an intimate setting, seated near the performer and immersed in an environment of sound, light, and visual design.
