This semester the SAPA Ensemble, under the direction of Aruna Kharod, will bring the joyous monsoon season to life through musics of South Asia, from Hindustani instrumental to regional vocal musics. The second half of the evening is a retelling of South Asian epic narratives, reimagined and performed by students from the course “Performing Epic Women in Global South Asia.”
