New Technology Classroom Drop-in Session: Experiment, Converse, Learn

Drop by this hands-on, open-format space for questions and conversation about ways technology in the classroom can be used for teaching. Test out and experiment with your laptop and iPad while at the same time learning from others.
 

Some example topics

• Try wireless screen sharing and presenting with Apple TVs
• Learn how students can also share their screens
• Experiment with classroom microphones
• Try the in-room cameras to record lectures or host remote guests
• Explore iPad strategies for teaching without a computer
• Use your iPad as a whiteboard or secondary screen
• Try out the interactive projector

Come with questions or just explore and observe for as little or long as you like!
 

Items to Bring

• Your College-issued laptop and iPad

Notes

• Sills 123 is a new classroom without a podium computer. Please bring your own laptop or ipad.
• The technology available in the classroom we are in, may not be available in all classrooms (yet)
