Imagine you wake up 50 years from now in a world you don't recognize. You can ask one yes or no question to help you understand this world. What do you ask?

Conversations about the future often revolve around AI, making it easy to fall for scenarios written by tech companies or trendwatchers. But by treating these future scenarios as inevitable, we risk overlooking their gaps. This raises the question: how can we overcome the poverty of imagination?

In this cutting edge Futures Literacy Lab, UNESCO Chair and renowned futurist Loes Damhof takes you on a journey to the year 2076, moving beyond the tools-driven innovation of AI and answering the question: how can you use futures to rethink the present?
