About Us

The purpose of Circolo Italiano is to generate programming about Italian culture on Bowdoin's campus. Bowdoin has a fabulous Italian department which is full of caring, interesting professors and passionate students, so we want to make the most of this by planning events for one another and the entire campus to enjoy. We hope to do this by focusing on the research interests of professors and students who are completing honors theses, but also on aspects of ltalian culture that are universally enjoyable, like gelato, coffee, opera, art, tortellini- the list goes on.
