Join us for an evening of film celebrating the creativity, history, and voices of the Spindleworks community. The program will feature a montage of footage spanning five decades, including excerpts from I Dream the Colors, Everything in Sight, and King Kong in a Blanket; documentation of community events and performances; collaborations with The Theater Project; artist-created short films; and other highlights from the Spindleworks archives. Together, these films offer a unique glimpse into the artistic spirit, relationships, and creative legacy that have defined Spindleworks for fifty years.

This event is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Celebrating Independence! Fifty Years of Spindleworks, 1976–2026 on view now at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art through August 16.

Bowdoin College is committed to providing an accessible and welcoming environment.
