Why have efforts to diversify the television industry, both on- and off-camera, been so challenging? Peter X Feng will discuss the impact of the Federal Communications Commission, the U.S. Congress, and the network's own minority mentorship programs on the TV industry.

Peter X Feng is the author of Identities in Motion: Asian American Film and Video, the editor of Screening Asian Americans, and a co-editor of Chinese Connections: Critical Perspective on Film, Identity, and Diaspora. He is currently writing a book about Asian Americans and Television.
