You know them as scientists, teachers, and mentors. But how did they get to where they are today? Join us to hear about the experiences of female professors in STEM in their respective fields, the challenges and rewards of working in research and academia, as well as what they want to see in the future for their disciplines. This panel discussion will be facilitated by members of Bowdoin Women in Science.

Faculty panel members: Fe McBride (Assistant Professor of Physics, Physics and Astronomy), Danielle Dube (Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry), Emily Peterman (Associate Professor of Earth and Oceanographic Science), and Patty Jones (Assistant Professor of Biology and Director of the Bowdoin College Scientific Station on Kent Island).

Sponsored by Bowdoin Women in Science (BWISe) and Bowdoin College Library

This is the fourth in a series of conversations with Bowdoin women leaders in science that focus on their accomplishments and the challenges they faced in forging careers in STEM fields.
