Presented by the Bowdoin College Cinema Studies Program at the Eveningstar Cinema.

Khaled, a child from a Palestinian village, has the opportunity to visit the seaside for the first time with his class. But at the military checkpoint, he learns that his permit is not valid. Disappointed, Khaled decides to travel on his own to the sea. His father, Ribhi, then goes in search of Khaled, even though he faces arrest because he lacks a permit to stay in Israel.

Tickets are free with Bowdoin ID for the first fifty attendees at each screening. Note that the show may not be visible on the Eveningstar's website as they have reached their advance ticket sales capacity, but seats for those with Bowdoin IDs are still available in person on Sunday afternoon before the show.

Short discussion to follow film.
