Join us for a reception to celebrate the opening of Josefina Auslender: Drawing Myself Free at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art Pavilion at 6:00 p.m.

This exhibition is the first-ever museum retrospective of drawings by Josefina Auslender, whose work in graphite, colored pencil, and ink spans decades and continents. “Josefina Auslender” features more than 100 drawings created in Argentina and the United States that collectively reflect her enduring interest in building new worlds through the visual languages of abstraction and Surrealism.

Bowdoin College is committed to providing an accessible and welcoming environment. Please contact the Events Office (events@bowdoin.edu or 207-725-3433) with any questions regarding the accessibility of this event and/or to request accommodations.
