Please join us for a tour of Gordon Parks: Herklas Brown and Maine, 1944 with curator Frank Goodyear, co-director of the Bowdoin College Museum of Art.  

Featuring 65 photographs, which are being exhibited at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art in partnership with The Gordon Parks Foundation, the exhibition highlights an important early chapter in Parks’ career—before he joined Life magazine in 1948 and began to achieve wider recognition. Gordon Parks: Herklas Brown and Maine, 1944 is on view at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art through November 9, 2025. 

Free and open to the public. No registration required. The tour will begin in the Museum Pavilion. Presented by the Bowdoin College Museum of Art.
