Join Sir Paul Ruddock H’19 and Stephen Perkinson, Professor of Art History, for a tour of the exhibition Medieval Art from the Wyvern Collection: Global Networks and Creative Connections. This exhibition brings together works of premodern art from the Wyvern Collection (London, United Kingdom) with works from the Bowdoin College Museum of Art to explore the deep ties that linked Asia, the Near East, North Africa, and Europe from the fifth through the fifteenth centuries.

For this event, please enjoy the opportunity to enter the museum through its historic entrance on the Main Quad. The museum’s contemporary glass-pavilion entrance, with an elevator, will also be available.

Free and open to the public; no registration required. A reception from 4-6 p.m. will follow in the Museum. Presented by the Bowdoin College Museum of Art.

Bowdoin College is committed to providing an accessible and welcoming environment. Please contact the Events Office (events@bowdoin.edu or 207-725-3433) with any questions regarding the accessibility of this event and/or to request accommodations.
