Please join us for an exhibition opening event for Celebrating Independence! 50 Years of Spindleworks, 1976-2026 with remarks by Anne Collins Goodyear, Bowdoin College Museum of Art Co-Director, and Mya Benally '26, co-curator. The exhibition will be on view at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art May 20, 2026 though August 16, 2026.

The event in Kresge Auditorium will be followed by an ice cream social by Gelato Fiasco from 2–3 p.m. outside the Visual Arts Center and will feature a flavor developed especially for Spindleworks' 50th Anniversary called "Spindelicious."
