Feminist Zine Making with SWAG

Whether you already know what zines are, or want to find out, come hang out! Join SWAG in the tent on Osher Quad to learn more about these handmade, self-published magazines that have roots in feminist movements from riot grrrl to today. Folks use zines to share their thoughts, ideas, poems, manifestos...just about anything, all outside of mainstream publishing. We'll learn how to make our own mini-zines, using just a sheet of paper, a writing implement, and some creativity. Or bring whatever creative project you're working on and just hang out! We'll provide paper, drinks, snacks, and good company. Be sure to wear your mask and RSVP, limited to 20 folks!
